Our interest in abacus training and vedic maths sowed the seeds of MATRIX ACADEMY in the year 2014 april. We mainly train children in abacus and vedic maths. We prepare our own syllabus which is at par with international institutions.Currently we have more than 100 students studying at our institutions.Our prestigious institution is located at sarathy junction,Karikode, Kollam,Kerala, India. The abacus as one of the earliest and most effective calculating devices. In the hand of a skilled operator it was a powerful aid to computation.Abacus is the base for all computers and calculating of modern age.Human mind can be trained to use abacus to achieve calculation speed at par with computers.The abacus became rapidly indispensable,mainly because of its simplicity of use in societies where number systems were complex and difficult for reckoning.
Vedic Mathematics is a book written by Sankaracharya of Govardhana matt, Sri.Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaj and first published in 1965. It contains a list of mental calculation techniques claimed to be based on the Vedas. The mental calculation system mentioned in the book is also known by the same name or as "Vedic Maths".
